My Bio

The Christian version is I am a committed Christian who takes my one on one relationship with Jesus Christ Lord and Saviour very seriously, loud and proudly. I am 33 years young, told I look 18, work in a government department (I praise Jesus for employment, provision of daily bread, God is good) and I am single and I am praying for a Godly husband. Whilst I am a committed Catholic who aims to attend Mass daily where possible I am also a semi regular at a Pentecostal Church (1 Cor 12) (which I get knicknamed Cathecostal lol), Hillsong (www.hillsong.com) and they are very encouraging of my Catholic faith, man some of them will make awesome Catholics with the way they follow up with their flock in a family style manner such as in small groups and it is a great chance at making friends in my age group who are also single and love Jesus as number 1 above all else in their life, and praise Jesus I am not expected to compromise my loud and proud Catholic faith at all with these great guys, in fact loads of other Catholics go there as well for the same reason, they are awesome with their loving followup, something our awesome Catholic church teaches in Acts 2. Like many on here, I became a committed Christian at the age of 15 at a youth group camp, through a friend at High School who was a Baptist, I praise Jesus I went to that camp and surrendered my life to him as I was on the path of destruction of drugs and other things before this and was cold towards our Lord, however he spoke to me at this camp and my heart melted a bit like Nicky Cruz in the Cross and the Switchblade. I turned anti Catholic for a while but I think it was really because I was meeting the wrong ones who didn't nurture, care or follow up the flock or teach the truth of the Church and God's presence in the Eucharist. I even went to Bible College (an interdenominational one) and it was there that I was encouraged to return and be a light to others in our Rome Sweet Home in late 1991 by an 81 year old protestant missionary who served God in the middle east, who is still alive at 95! (God bless her, Doreen is her name and she is wonderful). This is when I discovered that sadly a lot of church goers in the Catholic and mainstream fold are not following the Church teaching especially God's word the Bible and accepting his presence in the Eucharist (yet still taking it in ignorance), but I discovered in truth that the Church heirarchy does and has an enriched love for God's word the Bible, presence in the Eucharist and deep prayer, something I love about JP2 and B16! I had a fullon Eucharistic encounter with Jesus in early 1992 and fell in love with the sacraments especially Jesus in the Eucharist which was so life changing and COMPLETE, this was at a disciples of Jesus summer school (www.disciplesofjesus.org oh and they're Catholic in case anyone is asking and have the authority of the Holy Father) where I fell head over heels in love with Jesus in the presence of the Eucharist. I just pray that all Catholics (and other mainstream Chruch goers) get to meet our Lord and saviour the way we have on this board in Eucharist ideally daily and prayer with God's word and the CCC. We have an awesome Cardinal here in Sydney, Cardinal George Pell, who is on a mission for truth of our Catholic faith and doesn't care what people think of him, he cares what Jesus thinks of him! Alot like our Papa B16! As said before I am a huge lover of praying before our Lord in front of the Blessed Sacrament and as a true Catholic I love reading his word my favourite book, the Bible to grow closer to him and get to know him more and more along with the CCC. I'm growing more in love each day with our Papa B16 and pray for him daily as the head of the Christian Church on earth, he comes across as holy, humble, unassuming and Christlike, and he has to be cool being a pianist as I am a music lover! I also was (and remain) a huge JP2 fan, I miss him so much I fess, when I saw him in 2000 was so precious, I felt God through him from 2 - 5 metres reach he was to me passing by in his popemobile, he showed us how to relate to the suffering Christ and is a hero of the Christian faith, and he is already my favourite saint!
